The leakage of dry hanging stone curtain walls is caused by three major factors: pores, rainwater, and wind pressure. When wind pressure and rainwater work together, rainwater will seep into the room. The anti-seepage measures are as follows:
Eliminating pressure difference opening method: There is no sealing strip on the outer gap of the curtain wall, and the sealing treatment is moved to the indoor side opening, so that there is no wind pressure in areas with water and no water in areas with pressure difference, to avoid leakage.
Sealing balance treatment method: Open the inner opening seal of the seam chamber to prevent rainwater from being sucked in; Increasing the height of the inner flange of the crossbeam steel can effectively improve the water tightness level.
Open water diversion method: Set up a smooth drainage channel system, arrange the inlay joints and drainage holes reasonably, create pressure balance conditions, and avoid water accumulation in the inlay groove.
During implementation, mark the location of the water leakage first, and use sealant to repair it, install a water blocking line, and repair and replace damaged materials; The construction of weather resistant sealant requires double-sided bonding and filling with foam pads to form a cavity. The construction thickness is controlled at 3.5-4.5mm to ensure the sealing and leak proof effect.
